The Alpha Den

This is the alpha and alphess' den. It looks similar to the healing den, but not as large. This den is located in the center of the snowy clearing.

Blizzard walked in and crouched lower than normal. He was bigger than the dens height. He bumped his head on the ceiling befor laying down.

Starnight giggled at Blizzard before curling up on the den floor beside him. "Need a bigger den?" She said.

Blizzard shook his head"Nope because I know big males won't be able to move so quickly and you and all the other faes could hide in her and maneuver just fine". He smiles and licks his beautiful mates belly.

Starnight smiled at her mate's response. Her eyelids began to grow heavy from tiredness. She sighed and closed her eyes, but didn't fall asleep right away.

He tucks his head under hers so its a pillow for her then he tangles his tail with her and falls asleep. His muscles relaxing.

Starnight smiled. Her breathing grew more relaxed and in tune with Blizzard's until she finally fell asleep.

Blizzard woke with a flinch it was still nigh out side and he licks his mates cheek before slowly standing so he doesn't wake her. He then marks the den with fresh scent an walks out side to the main camp.

Starnight remained asleep. She wasn't sure if she wanted to dream or not. The dappled alphess wanted to know what happened to her siblings, but then again, maybe she didn't want to know.

Blizzard walks back in and yawns and curls around his mate. He uses his tail to be her blanket and keeps her warm.

Starnight parted her jaws in a wide yawn, almost relieved to have had a dreamless sleep. She nuzzled Blizzard and stood up. "Good morning, my love." She yipped.

Blizzard woke up and lick her muzzle happily"Good morning my sweet", he whispers and nuzzles her happily.

Star grinned and licked her mate's cheek. She sighed happily and crawled out of the den.

Starnight padded into the den. She flopped down on the floor of the den. With a sigh, she fell asleep. Dreams and memories awaited the dappled alphess.

Blizzard walks in behind his mate and curls around her. He has had a stressful day and wants nothing more than to curl up and smell her sweet scent.

Star smiled warmly at her mate and fell back asleep. (the italicized text is Starnight's dream)

Starnight, Tundra, and Rumour continued to romp around in the meadow. Star inhaled the warm air and sighed peacefully. Rumour crashed into her. "You're it!" She yipped and ran off. "I'm gonna get you!" Star howled after. She joined the fray, chasing her siblings around. Then everything went wrong, very wrong. The ground began to shake. "Wh-what's going on?" Her brother, Tundra, asked with wide eyes.

Blizzard fells asleep by his mates side. (Same as star.)

Blizzard smiled at his mate river her bright blue eyes shining in the moon light"I love you she whispered and smiled at him. He smiles and nuzzles her neck happily. The ground opened up and she shook and fled behind blizzards side"Blizzy im scared.[i]

Star yelped in fear and cowered beside her siblings, Rumour and Tundra. Even Rumour, the natural leader of the trio, had no idea what to do. The world around the pups began to spin, and trees began to fall all around them. Finally making up her mind, Rumour sprinted in the direction of their parents and the pack, dodging falling objects, but no one was to be seen. They were finally stopped in their tracks as the the ground in front of them began to open up under them. With a yelp of surprise, all three pups were swallowed by the void, but they all managed to cling to dear life on the ledge. Rumour pulled herself up the ledge first, then helped Starnight to do the same. But Tundra, always the weakest of the litter, was quickly losing strength and couldn't hang on any longer. Before the two sisters could help their brother, the snow white male pup lost his grip and was swallowed by the ground, never to be seen again. "Tundra! TUNDRA!!" Star howled. Even though they were just pups, that night, Starnight and Rumour sounded like grown wolves as they grieved for their brother that night.

Death appeared infront of star she approached the two pups the side ad spirit of their brother floating next to her"when you wake you two will forget eachother and your brother and will go on about your lives star you will go to the everlasting winter mountains and form a pack". She sent the brothers spirit to the under world by her throne.
(Death says this is how the pack started)
Blizzard looked around and told river to run away an waited for his fate as he followed"Dont look back river keep running"! He yeld and the ground opened up and swallowed him. He screamed as he hit the lava and woke with a start.[i]
He screamed in terror as he woke"ahhhhhhhh"! His screams filled the den and woke star.

Starnight stared at Death in confusion. "Who are you?" The pup rained the raven fae with a list of questions. "Where's the Everlasting Winter Mountains? And what do you mean I'll forget Rumour and Tundra?" Before she could talk or say goodbye to her littermate, the world faded from Star's vision.

Starnight was jerked awake by Blizzard's screams. She nuzzled her mate and licked his ears, desperately trying to calm and reassure him. There was a strange, haunted look in the dappled fae's eyes. She knew too much, seen too much. She didn't want to learn her memory anymore.

Blizzard liked around an had lifted up and hit his head on the ground above him. He started to calm Down but his heart raced more and more. He started to pant and looked around till he felt his mate lick his ear. Blizzard took deep breaths calming down till his heart rate returned to normal.

Starnight spoke in a soothing voice as she nuzzled Blizzard. "It's okay. You aren't not dreaming anymore. You're here, with me." Her pup instinct was setting in. Even though her mate obviously wasn't a pup, Star used similar tactics to comfort him.

Blizzard nuzzles his mate"I had a horrible dream". He whines his silver fur shining in the late moonlight.

(I thought Blizz had black fur??)

"Let's just go back to sleep." Star suggested. "Maybe you'll have a better dream next time."
