~Forgotten... A stray dog roleplay

Welcome to a place where every day of your life is a fight for survival. The humans don't want you here. They see you as a pest and will go to lengths to hurt you or send you to animal control. The chaotic city is crawling with cars that will easily claim the life of a careless dog. Humans are cruel, and if you can't be adopted in the shelter, you will likely be euthanized. Food is difficult to come by. But every living thing has a will to live. No matter how hard life gets, you must go on, and wander the streets aimlessly search of the great unknown. Strays of all shapes and sizes live here in the city, but they all have one thing in common--man's best friend has been forgotten.

A disease has swept across the Earth. It is destroying the human race. Some beggars can get food from immune people or dying humans who have not forgotten about man's best friend. As the food supply in the city dwindles along with the human population, will you be able to survive? Or will you be forgotten to the living?

"Forgotten" is a highly realistic apocalyptic stray dog rp (meaning realistic dog behavior and that humans are dying out) Talking is allowed, but dog body language and behavior is encouraged. I already have a stray dog roleplay on another pack, but this one is slightly more intense and is semi-literate.

Ranks

Alpha/Alphess Dog: This is the most intelligent, in some cases largest, and swiftest dog in the pack. Every dog may attack the alpha to gain his or her place, but a strong leader will maintain his or her position.

Beta Dog: This is the second-in-command, many dogs strive to be the beta if they can't be the alpha.

Fighting Dogs: These dogs are the toughest of the tough (besides the alpha and beta, of course). They guard the territory againist other dogs, packs, other animals, even humans. They have strong jaws, a clever mind, and a powerful build.

Stealers: These are the most daring dogs in the pack. They use smarts and intimidation to steal food from humans, risking their lives.

Burrowers: These dogs burrow in the ground to find food.



Sewer Dogs: These dogs aren't afraid to get down and dirty. They search the sewers for food.



Beggars: These "cute" dogs beg humans for food.



Hunters: Hunters/Huntresses are few and far between when there's so much food in the city. They hunt small animals such as rabbits and squirrels.



Yearlings: These dogs are a year old. They should be training for or at least thinking about their future rank.

The day was hotter than normal ,the wind was not blowing, there was no shade in the city for the sun was at its highest. There was a band of 4 belgian malinois roaming the streets. They were known as the fierce Titians. They held their name well too for no one was spared.

Shade roamed the streets his with his buddies and leader Topaz. So much wandered into his mind he could not think straight.- Why did the humans train them to be vicious killers? Yes he loved his strength speed and endurence, but what should his life have been like if he wasn't put into the army?- He looked at Topaz "Yo, Tz what are we doing next"? He ask his British accent clearly showing.

Corpse twitches his head his fur was ruffled and shaggy"Yea yea TZ next? Can we kill a human for food"? He asked his austrailian accent at its highest. His huge jaw muscles were ready to break bones. His muscles rippled under his black fur as his tail swayed with each step.

Topaz laughed at his physco friends, when he looks back and then from holding to building his fur rippled he was obviously the leader he was two times the size of any dog out there he made sure of that. Why because he killed all the rest bigger than him, that's why. "Patient brothers,for we will eat soon. Oh on another note, see any dogs bigger than me shred them". He smiles his russian accent the deepest of them all and laughs his laughter echoing loudly through the city
The small band of wolves continued on their way.

Shiloh slowly padded along the sidewalk. Her paws were getting sore, but she went on. Cars honked and drove past her (this is the very beginning of the epidemic, so there are still a lot of humans...they haven't noticed the disease yet), but the young beagle took little notice. Shiloh groaned and took shelter in an alleyway, under a trash cart. Her belly growled, but it would have to wait for now. Her eyelids grew heavy and the world faded into darkness as she fell asleep.

Kenny bolted out of the alley way, running full speed away from the patrollers, his siblings running opposite paths from one another." Idiots" he thought still running, his little paws pitter patter on the cement. He looked behind him and saw a patroller chasing after his tail, he snorted and came to a complete stop letting the patroller lose his balance and Ken rammed the human's footing and watch as the man fell on top of a bunch of garbage bins. Kendrick laughed and said," Sucker!" and he continued to run through the alley ways out to the open, where he saw people walk.

Raider grinned his devilish grin, he loved days with hanging with his buds. He loved being alone he was just as strong as corpse and shade. He was the digger of the group he loved getting his paws dirty. As a light brown furball ran down the alley he smiled"Food"! He ran after the pup laughing snapping a his heels.

Corpse laughed and droll ran down his mouth. He ran down a different alley hoping to cut the pup off. He raced his long black legs thundered down the road as he jumps and bit a humans throat. The poor old sap was ready to die not moving skinny as a fence board, or maybe he was sleeping.
Shade heard his favorite word"Food". And saw the yearling run down the alley"Get him im starving"! He yelled and ran down a different alley his short brown fur could been seen rippling from his muscles as he ran Down the alley after the pup.
The three hungry dogs caugh up to Kenny and smiled blocking all means of escape.
"Where you think your going yearling. Where's your mommy"? Shade asks laughing his stomach growling.

Kendrick continued to run through the alley until a bunch of thug dogs started howling they came chasing after him,” Oh great” the little pup thought. When a dog(Raider) tried snapping at his heels, the little pup got annoyed,” Hey Watch the coat!” he yelled, his breath running out. Suddenly two more dogs came after him, leaping out of the fence board. They were surrounding him until their was no exit for him. Kendrick took a moment to gain his breathing under control,"Where you think your going yearling. Where's your mommy"? he heard a dog(Shade) say. Kenny looked at the male with disgust, then he swung his paws in front of his nose, and said,” Woof boy you really need to think about eating something I don’t know um minty.” The pup licked his paws and wiped his head, perfecting his looks, then he turned his full attention to the gang, remember the question Ken ears drooped a bit but he remained calm and said,” I don’t have a mommy no more.” Then an idea ringed in the pups head, he smiled at the male, Kenny's tail wagging back and fort and he said," WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE MY MOMMY?"

Shiloh was aroused by sounds of dogs talking and running. She crawled out from under the trash cart and charged in the direction of the chaos. Her warm, chocolate brown eyes were met with the site of four large dogs surrounding a younger Siberian husky. The young beagle drew a small sigh and stepped out of the shadows. She stood on her tiptoes to look taller than she really was, her white-tipped tail was defiantly raised, and her ears shot forward. All of these were dominant postures. "Hey!" Shiloh barked. "Can't ya pick a fight with a dog your own size?" Shi knew that these dogs were tough, but she didn't care.

The males look a the yearling and laugh.
Shade exhaled in the pups face his bad breath going up the pups nose. "How would you like to be my girl"? He asks showing his the.
The males look at shade "Ooooooooh snap"!
Raider kicks the beagle into the center of the group

Topaz walks up" stop this you three know the rules no eating other dogs"! He barks and the males desperse

Felix ran ran ran until his whole body tired out. He bolted behind some rubbish and exhale and inhale catching his breath again. The black husky peeked out from behind the garbage, and saw the evil human running past where he was. " Woo lost him" he sighed happily, his ears twitched whenever he heard honks and sirens. He sulk in the wall and gave a little whimper," Oh bloody henry, I don't want to be here anymore, I wonder where Kendric, Coconut, Lunar, and Ex went?" the pup murmured quietly. His tail was tucked behind his hind legs and his ears flopped on down, a tiny tear escaped from his eye. The pup wanted to be with his siblings again, he wanted peace, he didn't want to be alone. He knew what Kenny would say to him in this moment, " Cheer up, don't be a pansy, or else your good looks are gonna waste." Felix laughed softly and perked his ears up again," Yeah I won't be, I'll find you guys again" he assured himself, he quietly sneaked out of the garbage and trotted the opposite way the patroller went.

Topaz looked at his fellow malinois' and growled"Raider how dare you kick that fae! Apologize now or ill rip your throat out"! He growls and stands to his full height clearly a Giant to everyone. He looked at the fae and bowed"Im sorry ma'am. My friends will not hurt you again". He smiles at the fae clearly showing a crush. He wasnt afraid to admit it he loved her dominance and attitude.

Raider corpse and shade growl at topaz.
"WHO says we won't"? Raider asks clearly not liking how topaz ha taking a liking to the beagle. He and his pals form a half circle around topaz.
"JOIN US OR DIE BOSS"! Corpse laughs and lunges at topaz.

Topaz leans back and snaps onto corpses leg and flings him into a wall snapping his neck with a swift kick.
Shades eyes widen and him and raider tackle topaz and growl"How dare you kill him"! He scratches topazes cheek and snarls.
Topaz growls with the two males on his back, he lifted his head and put his legs beneath him and started to stand with the two on his back. His muscle and brute strength were being revealed as he stood and spun knocking the two of and knocking them out.

Raider got up and growled an lunged at topaz snarling baring his teeth"die traitor".
Topaz lunged back and broke raiders wind pipe killing him instantly.
Shade ran away not wanting to lose his life.

Felix sniffed the ground for any scent of his dearly beloved siblings, but all he smelt was rotten food and urine. He didn't mind the nasty smells at all, especially if it was mud, he paused and began to zone out," MUD, Dirt!" the pup imagined lovingly. Felix missed the mud so much, he had the right of mind to actually roll in the rotten food. But suddenly he heard a growl behind him, he slowly turned around and saw a tall, muscular doberman behind him. His tail was tucked behind his back limbs and he gave a low whimper," Not Good" the pup muttered softly. The doberman barked and Felix bolted running as far away from the doberman, it was high tailing him with unbelieveable speed. Turning the corner, he bumped into a reddish coated figure," OW" the pup screamed out.

Kendrick looked behind him making sure no one was following then when he looked straight a head he felt a painful pang hit him in the head." OW Watch it Jerk, don't ruin my coat!" the pup squealed in pain. Kenny was rubbing his face and head back and forth trying to ease his ache. His light blue eyes looked up to see what hit him, his eyes grew wide and he barked," FELIX!."

Felix was rubbing his head too, and he guiltily said," Sorry I didn't mean to." The pup silently laughed," That something Kendrick would say" the pup thought. The pup continued to rub his face, and his ears perked when he heard the pup voice say his name, Felix looked up and his expression became shocked." Kendrick WOW! You haven't change one bit .. sadly" the pup said teasingly. He heard a growl behind and he zipped up from the ground and said in a fearful tone," COME ON WE GOTTA GO! There is a crazy dog chasing me!"

Topaz had walked up on the two pups and looked down"What breed"? He asks looking for the dog and waits

"What breed"?
He heard a stranger say, the pup felt scared at first but seeing as Kenny didn't looked freaked out about the male, Felix cleared his throat and said," I du-dunno I thi-think its a doberman!" He kept looking behind him, waiting any moment for the doberman to appear and snap one of there necks.

Sasha padded over the shiba in looked to them. "Hello."she said using her puppy eyes.

Topaz stands infront the pups and waits for the Doberman to come. He was going to protect the pups
