First topic message reminder :

This is the den where pups are born and raised until they are yearlings. It is located next to the healing den at the edge of the pine forest. This is also the pupsitters' den.

Night spotted Trace. She flicked her tail to show that it was okay to approach. He was a pack member, after all.

Snow ran towards the nursery den and stopped besides Esther, "What happened? Are the pups born yet?" She asks her friend quietly.

Esther nostrils twitched, she thought she sensed the new comer near. She saw the yearling bounding towards her. "What happened? Are the pups born yet?" she heard the yearling said. She glanced at the young lass and silently said," Sunset is gonna have her pups, the Alphess gave her some herbs to ease her pain too. The pups aren't born yet, but their getting ready to."

Snow waged her tail, "That's great!" She said excitedly as she started to sit down. "How many do you think she'll have?" She asks.

Starnight turned to look at Snow with her blue-green orbs. "I'm not a healer," She replied. "But I think she'll have about two pups."

Trace peered at the members, watching them have a conversation that he wasn't sure about. He slowly crept from his position then stood shaking the collected snow from his fur. He cantered over towards The three wolves and quietly asked, "What's all the commotion about?" he stayed a few meters back.

Es eyes soften when the yearling spoke some words, she nodded at what Star said. Then she turned her head to the approaching newcomer,"What's all the commotion about?" she heard him say. Essie looked at the entrance then back at the male, and said," Sunset is about to have her pups."

He paused and looked at the den then blinked and sat down. Pups? well that was something special indeed, he was happy for the mother to give birth soon and smiled responding,"Well that is truly something, give her my congrats" His banner swished in the snow, collecting the soft flakes onto his dark pigment, he thought about pups himself, a new bundle of furs crawling around the den area.

A small smile formed on Es lips, but she quickly flatten her smirk, she would show weakness in her position. When she actually think of it, it was a special thing to have pups," The pack will be growing" she thought. Since Sunset and the Alphess are about to deliver, the pack will have to be on the look out for any predators out there, it didn't help that she was the only Frostbiter in the pack but she wasn't complaining. She scanned the brute in front of her, he was a bit muscular and she knew he could handle himself, then she glanced at Snow who was young and couldn't fight but Es knew the pup was smart and could hide herself. Their was also Sunset's mate, he looks to friendly but if his family was in danger he may be able to protect himself and his family if they were threaten in any way. Esther hopes no danger will come to the pack, her light blue eyes glanced at the pale sky," The winter will harm the newborns." Esther thought about gathering more bedding for the upcoming pups, so she looked at Star and said," Should I gather more bedding for the pack?"

Star looked at Essie and nodded. She understood the blond fae's worries. "If you can, yes please." The dappled alphess replied.

Trace glanced over again at the chestnut female then towards Starnight, "Should I also go hunting for a decent meal to fill the pack during this time?" he asked while he stood onto his paws in a quick posture. He was willing to go hunt in need, the female giving birth soon and she may be weak during the process and afterwards. He doesn't have the knowledge of pup delivery, but he knows it takes the energy of the mother while the time comes. Hunting now is a better chance for him anyways, his darkened fur will blend in at the night surroundings, though exposed in pure white snow wouldn't be the smartest of himself so he decided to ask now.

Starry turned to look at Trace. "You may, but do you need my help?" She asked. She knew all too well that hunting large prey alone could be difficult, if not fatal. Besides, she would feel useless standing by the den while the rest of the pack helped out. The dappled fae scanned Tray with her blue-green orbs, awaiting his reply.

He dipped his head grateful for the offer, "Sure, taking down large game is risky alone" he replied while turning to face the direction of the forest where the grounds were located. He twitched his tail while sniffing the air, a faint smell of caribou and elk were afar, surely one of those choices would possibly make a decent kill."Whenever your ready, leader" he remarked eagerly.

Snow listened to the others talk and asked, ″Can I help too?″ She waited for a answer.

Night looked at the yearling and considered for a few moments. "Fine." She said. "But you must stay behind Trace and I and listen to every word we say during the hunt." She nodded at Trace and headed for the pine forest, plowing effortlessly through the deep snow.

Trace started to turn when he heard the yearlings words, as he listened he glanced over his shoulder while Star also answer. He agreed in advance, "Of course, you could learn some techniques while watching and helping us hunting" he smiled and trailed after Starnight, bounding through the deep blanket of snow, maneuvering through the forest grounds, passing by trees and brush.

Esther quietly watch the others leave through the woods. She twirled back to the den entrance and gave a notifying bark to Sunset's mate, as to say the pack is gathering more supplies. She rotated her gaze back to the woods and padded towards the forest.

The Arctic male who was still beside his mate looked up. His ears perked when he heard the Frostbiter's bark. "So their going out" he thought, he returned the bark and glanced back at Sunset. He licked her belly and laid his head on his paws, his emerald eyes staring out of the den.

Sunset heard the pack members outside the den leave. Now alone with Luckifer she sighed in reflief before letting out a painfilled yelp. Pressing against her mate the orange and red far let her instincts take over and she pushed her two pups out of her body. Raising herself up she gently cleaned them and placed them by her belly so they could suckle.

Esther trotted out of the woods, her mouth full of bedding. When she was near the entrance of the den her nostrils flared with the smell of newborns. Her eyes flickered with curiosity, she padded inside and placed the bedding on the ground, using her paws she arranged them around the den. She stepped back from Sunset and her mate, she gave a approving nod to Sunset and said," Their beautiful." Then she padded out of the den and sat down, guarding the wolves who were inside.

Sunset smiled at Esther. "Thank you." she said as the fae stepped back out of the den. She turned her head to look at her mate. "What will we call them?" she asked him looking into his green eyes.

Trace loped through the forest and emerging panting every step he took. It was a long run but worth it for the hunt. He stood near the den, not too close, but a good distance to not disturb the new mother and father. He could smell the scent, new birth and little pups. Trace nodded his head in greeting towards Esther, and laid down slowly on his torso, while he glanced around for a moment, squinting his eyes. He relaxed for a brief moment, immune to the cool wind that brewed by with a bitter chill, he snorted and shook his head with a quick flick before questioning Esther. "Is everything alright?" he asked while looking ovr at the guarding female.

Starnight was greeted by the sight of the two pups and a smile spread across her muzzle. "Congratulations, Sunset and Lucifer." She said softly before backing out of the den to give the new pups and parents peace and quiet. She wondered what their names would be.
