Snowy Clearing

First topic message reminder :

This is where the pack hangs out the most. It is a vast clearing surrounded by the pine forest. In the center of the clearing is the main den and the alpha den. At the edge is the healing den. The pack loves to romp in the deep snow here.

Essie changed her focus to the Alphess who leaped off the den. The she wolf watched the female with worry since she had unborn pups in her belly. Esther continued to watch the Star and notice she stopped in the edge of the forest, the blonde she wolf sniffed at the direction where Star was, she caught a scent of an unknown loner. A growl rose from her chest, Esther pushed her back limbs up, letting the fur from her neck rise. She glanced at the yearling and said," I'll be back." Then the Frostbiter galloped over to where her Alphess was at, her pads leaving marks behind her. When she reached where her Alphess was, the Tibetan she wolf stood beside her leader. Esther curled up her lips, baring her keen fangs to the intruder, she began to growl, warning the wolf.

Taking a glance away from the alphess, the male began to survey the tall pines then the terrain when something caught his eye. In his peripheral view a wolf trailed towards his location, his pupils eyed the approaching canid, she seemed tense of his intrusion onto the pack territory."I do not seek to to harm your pack, therefore if necessary and if I wouldn't be as of use I would leave.." the male slowly backed up, his paws sunk slightly in the blanket of snow, his receptors cuffed back submissively to the wolves.

Star flicked her ears foward to Esther. She gave the lead Frostbiter a nudge in the shoulder. "This wolf means well, Es." She whispered, then looked back at Trace. "Well, in the center of this snowy clearing is the alpha den. Then there's the hunter, frostbiter, patroller, yearling, healing, beta/delta, elder/omega, and nursery den." She explained. "There's also a hidden unfrozen creek nearby. "The surrounding woods you see is the Pine Forest, the main hunting grounds. Would you like me to show you the Frozen Sea, Blizzard Mountains, and Hot Spring?" She asked.

Trace glared at the chestnut colored lass for a brief moment, surveying her tensions while the alpha has spoken. Taking his gaze off her slightly he eyed Starnight and nodded his head, "certainly, you can show me the territory if you don't mind" he said while stretching his back into an arch."So many varieties of dens, never been to a pack so organized with their areas, impressive" his tail swayed at the thought.

Starnight grinned at the compliment. "Speaking of dens," She said. "Which rank would you like?" She began to trot through the pine forest to the Hot Springs. She slowed down for Trace to catch up and give her an answer.

Esther eyed the male closely, her lobes perked up when he spoke. When she saw his submissive posture she briefly cooled down. She felt a slight nudge on her shoulder, Es turned to her Alphess and backed off, when Star whispered to her. The Tibetan she wolf flatten her ears, and nodded to her leader. Sensing the Alpha Female was going to show the newcomer around, so Es glanced back at the male and said,” Sorry for my rudeness, and Welcome to the Pack.” She bowed her head low to both of the wolves and slowly stepped back, rotating her body, letting her back face them, she silently treaded back to the yearling, leaving both the wolves alone.

Trace turned and slowly nodded his head, "Thank You" he replied then trotted up to the alphess and thought about his role. "I do endure hunting" he smiled slightly with a grin, while following her to the other area.

Sunset smiled as she breathed in her mates scent. "Well my mate got me pregnate with his pups." she said nipping him gently. Her eyes glowed with happiness. Her eariler worries that they wouldnt know their farther were gone now that he was back.

Snow perked her ears as she heard Esther's voice, before she could say something though Esther told her she would be back. The yearling watched her friend go over to the new wolf and tilted her head. She saw her talking to the new wolf then turn back to her. Snow asked, "Whose that?"

Tiger tilted her head as she saw the male who appeared and disappeared with Star. She pursued them curiously.

Essie heard the little yearling say. She glanced at the pup and said," That's a new member of the pack." Come to think of it, Esther never really got his name, which was weird but the Tibetan she wolf will have to ask later. She yawned and lowered her four limbs to the ground, beside Snow and laid her head on her front paws. Her ears were perked up, the she wolf may look like shes relaxing, but she was still on full alert for any threats that are near or far.

Night let go of the seal carcass as she and Trace neared the center of the clearing. She wagged and raised her tail in greeting to the rest of the pack.

Trace lowered his head and dropped the other floppy piece of the seals body and craned his head up. He licked his maw and peered around towards the rest of the pack members.

Sun looked over at Night as she dropped the seal carcass. "Nice work." she said padding over to her. She waited for her alphess to take the first bite then yelp in pain. She could feel her pups moving within her as they twisted causing her pain.

Starnight smiled warmly at Sunset. "Thanks." When the healer yelped in pain, she rushed over to her and tried to offer comfort.

Soft whimpers escaped the red and orange fae. Her amber eyes were filled with pain as she panted. Slowly the pain eased and she relaxed. A few mintues later another rippled of pain rolled through her and she let out a louder yelp.

Her nostril flared by the scent of her Alphess and the other pack members that came back. She remained in her exact position, beside the yearling snow. Es wasn't feeling hungry, so she continued to listen to the peaceful tune of the land. She heard a yelp of pain from the female Sunset, a low growl rumbled in her chest, Es thought the fae was being attacked, but noticing it wasn't that the Frostbiter ceased her growl and perked her ears to the direction of the fae.

At first, Star had thought Sunset was just experiencing minor pains. But it seemed that red and orange fae was going to give birth. Starnight whimpered with concern for the pack member and guides her to the nursery den, giving Sunset support as she walk alongside her. She called for a healer.

Sunset stumbled as she followed Night to the nursery den. She paused and looked back at Lucifer before slipping into the den.

Es looked around confusingly she didn't know if she should follow the two faes. But she got off the ground and silently padded after them. It was her job to protect the pack, since the Alphess was helping the female, and the femme was in pain, Es decided to follow and protect the two from harms way.

Trace eyed the orange and red female as she was suffering with pain. He examined her but didn't approach nonetheless she was already being taken into the other den. As he watched them seek off to the Nursery den he decided to look for the hunters section of the territory. He started to pad forth eyeing the chestnut wolf who approached him after his arrival trailed off following the two who were on their way to the den. He paused for a moment and watched, not sure to follow as well, though he shook his head pondering for a moment, then goes off.

Lucifer cheerily smiled as Sunset trotted over to Starnight. When she was yelping in pain he rushed over to her and sniffed," The Baby!" he thought. He followed the Alpha female and Sunset to the den.

Trace trotted into the area and glanced around and whiffing at the air. Hunger was slowly coming to his senses though he awaited for that to come when needed and sat back in the snow and scratched behind his ear with his hind paw. Leveling his paw back onto the turf he saw paw prints in the snow where whom the wolves have ventured to the other den, he lowered his head a bit unsure of going while glancing around for another moment then finally goes towards at ease.

Snow nodded at what her friend said then she heard Sunset yelp in pain. She looked at Sunset the realized what was going on. She saw the others leave with Sunset and decided to go to.
