~Forgotten... A stray dog roleplay

Welcome to a place where every day of your life is a fight for survival. The humans don't want you here. They see you as a pest and will go to lengths to hurt you or send you to animal control. The chaotic city is crawling with cars that will easily claim the life of a careless dog. Humans are cruel, and if you can't be adopted in the shelter, you will likely be euthanized. Food is difficult to come by. But every living thing has a will to live. No matter how hard life gets, you must go on, and wander the streets aimlessly search of the great unknown. Strays of all shapes and sizes live here in the city, but they all have one thing in common--man's best friend has been forgotten.

A disease has swept across the Earth. It is destroying the human race. Some beggars can get food from immune people or dying humans who have not forgotten about man's best friend. As the food supply in the city dwindles along with the human population, will you be able to survive? Or will you be forgotten to the living?

"Forgotten" is a highly realistic apocalyptic stray dog rp (meaning realistic dog behavior and that humans are dying out) Talking is allowed, but dog body language and behavior is encouraged. I already have a stray dog roleplay on another pack, but this one is slightly more intense and is semi-literate.

Ranks

Alpha/Alphess Dog: This is the most intelligent, in some cases largest, and swiftest dog in the pack. Every dog may attack the alpha to gain his or her place, but a strong leader will maintain his or her position.

Beta Dog: This is the second-in-command, many dogs strive to be the beta if they can't be the alpha.

Fighting Dogs: These dogs are the toughest of the tough (besides the alpha and beta, of course). They guard the territory againist other dogs, packs, other animals, even humans. They have strong jaws, a clever mind, and a powerful build.

Stealers: These are the most daring dogs in the pack. They use smarts and intimidation to steal food from humans, risking their lives.

Burrowers: These dogs burrow in the ground to find food.



Sewer Dogs: These dogs aren't afraid to get down and dirty. They search the sewers for food.



Beggars: These "cute" dogs beg humans for food.



Hunters: Hunters/Huntresses are few and far between when there's so much food in the city. They hunt small animals such as rabbits and squirrels.



Yearlings: These dogs are a year old. They should be training for or at least thinking about their future rank.

Puppies: The pups of the pack.



Omegas: These dogs just don't fit in. They're mistreated by the pack.



Loners: These dogs live alone, roaming the streets. Stray dogs rarely form stable packs.

Sandy smiled coldly. "I have killed dogs your size before but no injuries or death between us today just a friendly little fight." she barked. Her body lauched into the air landing behind the rottweiler and she spun around nipping at his back legs.

Sandy felt the brute nipped at her shoulder and stat to hold her down. She dropped and swept a paw at his front leg knocking him to the side. As she did she raised her head and got a solid but not killing grip on his neck.

Sasha nudged Felix gently. "It's alright."she said softly. "No one hates you or anything."she said.

Kendrick padded beside his brother and smiled, giving him a kind shove. Then he glanced at first Dawn, second Shiloh, and then Sasha. "Where is Titan and Sandy? Did they run away?" asked the pup looking at the adults waiting for one of them to answer his question. He looked at the direction he last saw the rottweiler and the boxer, both his lobes were lifted up, "Where could they be?" thought the red Siberian Husky pup.

"Yes, Felix voted for me so we have a tie."she said. "Would you mind being the tie breaker?"she asked kindly.

Dawn perked her ears to what Felix choose. The yerling looked to Shilo and Sasha and waited. She watched as they ran towards Titian and Sandy. She thought, Now what do we do...

Sandy felt the rottwheiler push agaist her and she shifted. Hearing Shiloh she growled and tightened her grip before letting go. "Dead." she said with a grin tapping his chest. "We were just playing." The golden boxer rolled her eyes at the other female. She stayed where she was laying half on top of Titian.

Sasha giggled a bit. "No worries. It's OK to train."she said. She nodded after Shiloh spoke.

Sandy growled as Titan voted for Shiloh. She didnt like the female it made it clear. Padding forward she nipped the rottwhieler and bounded away. "Catch me." she barked hoping he would follow so they could fight in peace.

Kendrick stood idle in the alley way then he suddenly snapped back to focus. "What the?!" the pup wondered how long he has been inactive, shaking his head he glanced around and noticed that Shiloh and Sasha weren't around. But at least he still had Dawn and his brother, who seemed to be idle as well. He barked loudly at them, "Come on guys we have to go find the adults!" Lowering his nose to the ground he slowly tracked down the familiar scents of the female dogs, they weren't far from the pups so he knew both Dawn and Felix would be able to follow. Padding up to the corner he head the deep voice of the rottweiler and heard the decision be made, "Shiloh won?" mumbled the pup.

The golden boxer female heard Titans response and barked once. Seeing an open park with no humans in it she bounded towards it. Skidding to a stop she dropped to the ground and spun around so that she faced the rottwhieler.

"Congratulations Shiloh."she yipped in delight. "Oh really? Thanks."she smiled.

"Shiloh?"she asked. "Don't you hear that? The sounds of two dogs fighting?"she asked.

Dawn perks her ears at Ken's voice. She shook her head, blinking a couple of times. She got up and followed Kendrick to the two females. She smiled when she heard Shiloh was the new leader. "Congrats Shiloh." Said the border collie yearling. She perked her ears hearing a fight going on and frowned. She started to wonder if Titian and Sandy were fighting.

Sandy yelped as Titan bite her side by her rib cage. Swinging her daed around the golden boxer bite his shoulder growling. She twisted her body away and out of the rotties mouth and pushed him over bearing down on him. Letting her jaw go slack she bounded backwards and snarled though her eyes were full of hummor.
