~Forgotten... A stray dog roleplay

Welcome to a place where every day of your life is a fight for survival. The humans don't want you here. They see you as a pest and will go to lengths to hurt you or send you to animal control. The chaotic city is crawling with cars that will easily claim the life of a careless dog. Humans are cruel, and if you can't be adopted in the shelter, you will likely be euthanized. Food is difficult to come by. But every living thing has a will to live. No matter how hard life gets, you must go on, and wander the streets aimlessly search of the great unknown. Strays of all shapes and sizes live here in the city, but they all have one thing in common--man's best friend has been forgotten.

A disease has swept across the Earth. It is destroying the human race. Some beggars can get food from immune people or dying humans who have not forgotten about man's best friend. As the food supply in the city dwindles along with the human population, will you be able to survive? Or will you be forgotten to the living?

"Forgotten" is a highly realistic apocalyptic stray dog rp (meaning realistic dog behavior and that humans are dying out) Talking is allowed, but dog body language and behavior is encouraged. I already have a stray dog roleplay on another pack, but this one is slightly more intense and is semi-literate.

Ranks

Alpha/Alphess Dog: This is the most intelligent, in some cases largest, and swiftest dog in the pack. Every dog may attack the alpha to gain his or her place, but a strong leader will maintain his or her position.

Beta Dog: This is the second-in-command, many dogs strive to be the beta if they can't be the alpha.

Fighting Dogs: These dogs are the toughest of the tough (besides the alpha and beta, of course). They guard the territory againist other dogs, packs, other animals, even humans. They have strong jaws, a clever mind, and a powerful build.

Stealers: These are the most daring dogs in the pack. They use smarts and intimidation to steal food from humans, risking their lives.

Burrowers: These dogs burrow in the ground to find food.



Sewer Dogs: These dogs aren't afraid to get down and dirty. They search the sewers for food.



Beggars: These "cute" dogs beg humans for food.



Hunters: Hunters/Huntresses are few and far between when there's so much food in the city. They hunt small animals such as rabbits and squirrels.



Yearlings: These dogs are a year old. They should be training for or at least thinking about their future rank.

Puppies: The pups of the pack.



Omegas: These dogs just don't fit in. They're mistreated by the pack.



Loners: These dogs live alone, roaming the streets. Stray dogs rarely form stable packs.

"Let me see, Ken is the flirty one. Felix is the humble one. And Coconut is the polite one."she said out loud. She smiled and sat up straight.

Felix glanced at his brother who was already making his move on a yearling, he shook his head and sighed. His ears flicked when Sasha said Ken was the flirty one, he put his paw in front of his mouth and tried his best to keep his laugh to a minimum but he couldn't help, he started to burst out laughing, the pup knew it was true, his brother was a complete flirt.

Coconut smiled at the beagle who accepted her apology. Then she turned around and saw three dogs running up to her, her tail began to wag uncontrollably when she recognized her brothers. She grinned at both of them and said," I'm glad to see you guys are ok." She looked at the female dog(Sasha) who escorted her brothers, Coco smiled at her and said," Thank you for taking care of my brothers." When Ken padded to the yearling she could see in the corner of her eyes that Felix was shaking his head. She heard what the Shiba said about Ken, and gave a slight giggle.

Dawn shook her head at the other yearling and said, "Its nice to meet you Kendrick, I'm Dawn." The border collie pup twitched her ears at what the other dog (Sasha) said about Ken. I can believe that... She thought silently keeping in a laugh till her stomach started to growl again. She lowered her ears in embarrassment and mumbled, "Sorry..." Once again.

Sandy watched as all the new dogs came up. "I'm Sandy." she said to the female she had run into and to the group at large.

"Let me see, Ken is the flirty one."
He heard the Sasha say, he glanced at her quickly and gave her a sharp look, then he switch his gaze to his brother who was laughing at him, he ran over to him and kicked his brother with his hind legs," Shut up!" the pup barked to his brother. He stared at Coconut, then to the other adults (Shiloh, Sandy) and back at Sasha shaking his head. He padded back to the yearling who called herself Dawn, he looked at Dawn and said," Nice to meet you, Dawn." The pup looked away from Dawn, to his paws, he was beginning to blush.

Sandy sighed. "I pasted an open store not to far back." she said, "Maybe we can find something there." The golden boxer female shrugged and looked at the ground. A teenage human stumbled over to the small group of dogs and a growl rose from within sandy.

Felix was laughing hard when he was suddenly kicked by Kent. He yelped and fell over, he got back up and shook his fur, he growled and barked," Hey!" He was about to pounce on his brother, when a teenage human girl came towards us. He whimpered and padded over to the boxer, who seemed like the best option of protection.

Dawn laughed as Ken kicked his brother Felix. She smiled and looked away as Ken said it was nice to meet her. She saw the human and started to growl at it. She wasn't afraid of it, what was it going to do try to catch them. Dawn could move out of its way before it got to her.

Sandy moved closer to the human snarling. Her white fangs gleamed on the light as she did. It moved back startled by the warning the dogs showed and fear rose off it as the golden boxer female moved close.

Sasha looked to the girl happily and used her puppy eyes. She watched as she gave her some leftover bones from some kind of party maybe. Sasha smiled and gave one to Dawn who's belly was rumbling. She gave each of the others a bone and took one for herself. Luckily, there was enough for everyone. "Come on you all."she said and nommed on the bone.

"It appears she's talking to her boyfriend."she said. She chewed on the bone happily.

(She understands because she was a house dog, remember?)

Shiloh rolled her eyes. She continued to chew on the bone.

Sasha finished off the whole bone. She looked to the others happily. Quite content with what she did for them, she padded away slowly.

Dawn looked at Sasha happily before picking up her bone. She laid down and started to chew on her bone happily. She looked around at the others while she chewed on her bone.

Sandy huffed in disgust as the other dogs tock food off the human. When it tossed one to her she lepted back snarling. She hated humans as they had beaten her in the kennels when she had been wild.

Upon hearing that, Sasha looked to them. "Follow me."she said. Sasha continued to pad off to where she first wanted to go. Sasha stopped at an old abandoned corner house with broken gates nut a roomy inside with old mattresses she found once before. "All of us can stay here. That is if you wish to stay."she said.
